Rider Accident Insurance
Your accident insurance pays if you have an accident whilst working with Deliveroo, and you can’t work as a result of your injury. You can claim for a period of up to 30 days whilst you can't work, and a lump sum payment for certain bodily injuries.
Temporary total incapacity
If you have an accident when logged in to your rider app and can't work as a result, you can claim for up to 30 days lost income based on your average earnings.
You can claim up to £7,500 in a year to cover you for prescribed treatment and medical costs with a doctor or hospital, following a claim for accident or injury under your policy.
Lump sum for injuries
If you are injured or suffer permanent disability from an accident whilst working with Deliveroo, you can claim for up to £50,000 depending on the type and severity of your injury.
In addition to medical expenses, you can claim up to £2,000 in a year for emergency dental treatment following an assault on you whilst delivering for Deliveroo.
Not something we want to think about, but you are covered for facial scarring as a result of an assault on you. This also includes dental treatment resulting from the assault.
Hospital + family benefit
You can claim for overnight hospital stays up to £3,000, plus expenses for your family of £500. You can also claim for up to 14 days recovery after discharge (‘convalescence’).
We only work with underwriters who support our vision of doing awesome stuff for riders.
